Imagine stepping into a gallery and seeing a masterpiece like The Birth of Venus framed in a mix of bright colours or The Scream in a cheap purple plastic frame. How would that make you feel? Perhaps it would be distracting, even unsettling? Wouldn’t something feel off?

When we have the feeling that something (visually) doesn’t fit, it’s because our brain recognises the lack of harmony.
When we look for the word “harmony” in the dictionary, we can find definitions related to music, ideas, relationships or art.
According to the Cambridge Dictionary "Harmony is the combination of separate but related parts in a way that uses their similarities to bring unity to a painting, drawing, or other art object” and “a situation in which people are peaceful and agree with each other, or when things seem right or suitable together”".
Chaos X Order
In simple words, we can say that when there’s harmony, something seems and feels right. In the same way, disharmony produces an unpleasant feeling.
I love talking about harmony because it’s about balance and order. We can easily see that in nature. Observing a sunset, a beautiful landscape, or a delicate flower: ins’t that pleasant to the eye? Or, think about the opposite—looking at images of war or wildfire, destruction, discomfort, chaos… the feeling is awful.

I don’t want to be negative and talk about the issues of the world, but to look from a different perspective and to suggest for us to think about our lives and daily choices, and take the opportunity to make it more harmonious. Not only for us, but also for our surroundings.
Let’s use the benefits of harmony, balance and beauty to bring unity and comfort. To feel good with ourselves and to bring harmony in the middle of the chaos. It’s an inside perspective, that slowly will reflect in the outside.
The frame of your life

Now, think about how we 'frame' ourselves every day. Our clothing choices, hair, makeup, and accessories are like the frames of a painting. If we don’t carefully select pieces that work in harmony with our features, it can feel like an artwork in a mismatched frame—distracting and out of place. However, when our choices intentionally enhance and complement our natural beauty, we are able to create a harmonious look that FEELS right and brings out our best (without much effort).
Your unique story
Your unique beauty is enhanced by actions that reflect balance, order, and harmony. You don’t need to look like everybody else, and you don’t need to always buy something to feel well or to belong. What you need is to understand more about yourself, to learn how to find and have more ideas, how to explore creativity and express that in a way that only you can do. In doing that, you’ll eliminate distractions and allow your personality to shine.
Organisation is the key
Before creating outfits that feel really you, and expressing your unique personality and feeling more in balance, there’s a little key that will open this door and help your process to be smooth. That’s organisation!
I do love this word because, I know, it’s “easy” for me, it’s part of my life and personality, and don’t want to sound judging or boring. I know it’s a hard thing for a lot of people (and people close to me, believe me!), but I wish this will be inspiring for you.

Have you heard that a messy environment (bedroom, wardrobe or whatever) just reflects a messy “mind”. When you start organising your surrounds, it will help your mind to feel more in order too.
So what I suggest is to organise what you have, it can be a few or a lot, but just start somehow, and go little by little. Once you eliminate the chaos, it will bring light and peace, and when your mind is free from the mess, it’s also free to be more creative and productive.
Summarising
Well, I don’t want to write a blog that goes around the whole universe and mix too many subjects, but I hope you keep the main idea:
Harmony
Unity
Balance
Wellness
Organisation
It would be nice to know if you’re enjoying the subject and blog posts. Leave a comment, I would love to know how I can help you better in your journey.
